I'd like to take a minute to introduce our newest Second Chance Fund dog Chandler! Chandler is a 16 week old mixed breed dog who was accepted into the Second Chance Fund program for the treatment of Parvovirus. Parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that is fatal in many unvaccinated puppies. Chandler came to us VERY sick and was vomiting and had diarrhea. He has needed intensive supportive care with IV fluids, medications, and even a feeding tube. Luckily, just this weekend he has really started to feel much better and we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery. Chandler will need a loving home as soon as he has recovered from his illness!
P.S. He says that this isn't the best picture of him and he'll be much cuter without that cone and a good bath!
